Art, feeling and beauty, these are the constants which have guided Elisa for thirty years. Everything began in a small workshop making ceramic dolls, which, gradually, became recognised until it finally became an independent production centre for skilled craftwork.

Elisa knows full well what its task is: to create beauty; and the hands which bring this idea to fruitation are those of the sculptress Montserrat Ribes.

Those who carry out the painting of the figurine use the basic colours prepared by Montserrat Ribes, mixing them on their palettes to obtain a wide range of shades, and applying these colours to the piece in different layers until the effect desired by the artist is obtained.

The painted figures tend to reflect the personality of the person who painted them, so it is important that just one person, the person in charge of painting, apply the finishing touches, making the series uniform in style. The figure painters are all trained at and selected from the school of Montserrat Ribes.
